Sprint Total Equipment Protection App to Find your Lost Phone

By Tuan Do

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sprint for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you are owning an HTC phone, you may have heard about HTCSense.com, the website offering a series of dashboard-connected services for remote backup, security, and control of your HTC device. The feature was very promising but it just doesn’t work in most cases. Now there is the new Sprint Total Equipment Protection App that could help. It is not only available on HTC phones but also on Android, Blackberry and select feature phones.

From August 1-30, 2011, Sprint customer can add the Total Equipment Protection feature at no additional cost. You still need to pay $8.00 per month for the Sprint Total Equipment Protection app (TEP) with the following features:

  • Locate phone
  • Sync contacts
  • Remote wipe phone
  • Lock phone
  • Sound alarm

Moreover, Sprint customers is provided with a quick and convenient way to receive a replacement if their phone is lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctions after the warranty expires.

By using the app, you won’t regret when your phone is lost or stolen as you can always find it with an audible alarm, locate on a map using network integrated GPS technology, remotely lock a missing phone, as well as wirelessly sync and manage and restore your contacts. If you are a Sprint customers, you should check out and download the app as it is just available till August 30th to add to your existing phone.
