Dropbox is a well-known cloud storage service. It can synchronize files on different devices through cloud storage. It can also quickly generate sharing links or share files and folders with other people. It is very convenient to use Dropbox among friends. The Dropbox sync technology offers impressing uploading speed.
If you are a Dropbox user, you can find the “Transfer” function from the link on the left after logging in. According to the introduction at the top of the page, this tool allows users to transfer files to any object, even if the recipient does not have a Dropbox account. Function, when the other party downloads the file, they will receive an email notification, and can track the number of times the file has been viewed and downloaded. More importantly, Transfer will send a copy of the file, and will not let others get your original file.
Open Dropbox Transfer and drag the files or folders to be transferred directly. You can also add files to be transferred from the Dropbox network hard drive. Please note that free users can only transfer a maximum of 100 MB files at a time.
By default, the file will only be stored for seven days. If you are a paying user, you can adjust the validity period up to 90 days, or customize the time. You can also add a password protection function. Free users can only choose 3 days or 7 days, but it ’s good for simple file transfer, it does n’t take too long, as long as they can get the file quickly.
Click Finish. Dropbox Transfer will start transferring files and generate a link. The screen will show the current completion progress.
After completing the transfer, Dropbox Transfer will display the download link. Click “Copy Link” to transfer it to the other party to download the file you uploaded and hosted. There is also a feature called “Email File Delivery”. To see who downloaded your file, you can send it via email.
