The colours on it are so vivid, you can’t mistake it for a zebra

Since almost all of the tech companies are using CES 2015 as a platform to showcase all their latest technologies and gadgets, there’s only one way to stay ahead of the game and be different – unveil it, but not at CES 2015.

And that’s exactly what Lenovo has done with its Vibe X2 Pro smartphone. This Android 4.4 KitKat-powered droid is the latest addition to its mobile army (alongside a new Lenovo P90) and it is quite the stunner.

The successor to the Vibe X2 that was unveiled at IFA last year sports a similar striped design to the former. There are three combinations – black (front), red, white, and electric blue (back); black (front), blue, white, and rock pink (back); as well as black (front), champagne gold, white and champagne gold (back), so have your pick from the lot.

OTHER FEATURES…

It also weighs in at just 140g and features a 5.3in 1080p IPS LCD display.

If looks aren’t what you normally go for, this unit boasts 2GB of RAM, 32GB of microSD-expandable storage, and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset with 1.5GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU.

As for its camera, it packs two 13MP cameras – one with the LED flash on the rear and the other, without flash on the front for you selfie lovers. But if you’re after one with, Lenovo’s created a flash accessory specifically for it.

The company has indicated that the smartphone will hit markets sometime in April this year, but pricing has yet to be divulged. We will update the story as soon as we get wind of it.
