Boyata N19 Adjustable Laptop Stand Review

By Tuan Do

I’ve tried many stands for my MacBook Pro and I actually quite like their construction and build quality. However, they don’t really satisfy my needs because I always want a more flexible stand. The Boyata N19 even delivers more than I expected and it has become my favorite stand so far. Let’s find out its advantages in the review.

Unboxing & Testing

Design & Performance

Unlike my previous stands, the Boyata has a Z-type design with two pivot points allowing me to adjust the angle and height of my laptop. The upper point can even be tilted to a near up-straight angle so that you can use it as an iPad stand. This is really a great feature if you also use iPad as your primary computer.

The design is obviously not as sturdy but it looks amazing and the stand can actually keep my MacBook Pro stable. As long as you use an external keyboard, there shouldn’t be any problem during normal usage. The hinges are very stiff and you will need to push and pull them hard to adjust the angles. I just hope that they won’t wear out over time.

Before switching to the Boyata, I used an one-piece stand which is more stable but couldn’t lift the MacBook’s screen to my eye level. The new stand can not only lift the screen but also bring it a little closer to my eyes. It works so well that I no longer need a bigger external display now.

The top surface that holds the laptop has silicone pads all over the place, so it can keep my MacBook from sliding and scratches. There is also a big hole at the center to provide more airflow and cool down the laptop faster.

Overall, there is nothing to complain about the Boyata laptop stand. We at TechWalls highly recommend it.
