Once this is done, the lights are ready to use. You can use the remote control to switch among all existing lighting effects but the Lumary app has more customizations. I also prefer the app since it has better range and I could schedule the lights to turn on/off automatically. For those who enjoy personalizing their decor, the DIY feature is a game-changer. However, one challenge I’ve faced is that strong winds can cause the light strings to tangle, so I have to untangle them almost every day.
