Over the various operating systems that Microsoft had launched, there hadn’t been much change in the calculator application in terms of functionality. However, in Windows 7 we find the Calculator application is equipped with added features which allow you to carry out various operations namely: 12 kinds of unit conversions and date based calculations. Also, you can calculate your car mileage or your mortgage payment dues.

3. Reliability Monitor

At times when your system fluctuates in its performance and stability you might want to figure out its cause. The Reliability Monitor is a great help in this case. This displays the performance graph of your system over a period of time and also rates it on a scale of 1 to 10. 4. Problem Steps Recorder

This application will record your PC activities throughout the day and take snap shots and add noted to the actions that you were carrying out. The best part is they will create a self generated report that is in the MHTML form and ready to be dispatched in the form of e-mail.

5. Power Efficient Report

This application or service is used to hunt out problems in your system. Run command prompt as an administrator from the start menu. Run powercfg-energy through cmd.exe and it will generate a file named as energy-report.html in less than a minute in your ‘systems32’ folder. Copy the file from this folder and paste it on a different location and then open it. If you try to access it from the ‘systems32’ folder it will show error. Now this file will point out specifications which are causing in efficient power management.
